The M Diamond Ranch is located about 35 minutes from the heart of Sedona in an area rich with easily accessible unspoiled wilderness with a picnic area, hiking, and archaeological and petroglyph sites, and more. Make your trip to the M Diamond Ranch very special by making time for family fun activities along the way on what we like to call “The Road Less Traveled.” Then, learn about real western history and heritage from the back of your horse at the M Diamond Ranch!
The evening “Ranch Rendezvous” starts with a 1 hour trail ride for ages 7 and up, and then a wagon ride pulled by our Percheron draft horse team, Ben and Junior, to “The Sedona Lookout”, our all-weather cookout site.
We are proud to have received the Wildlife Habitat Stewardship Award from the Arizona Game and Fish Department. The award is given to nongovernmental entities that have excelled in the preservation, enhancement, or creation of land management practices beneficial to Arizona’s wildlife resources, and are engaged in agribusiness, allow public recreational access to at least part of their land, and exercise wildlife habitat conservation and enhancement practices.
The M Diamond Ranch has long practiced good stewardship in caring for our range land. Some examples of our work include water developments to benefit both wildlife and livestock, restoration of native grasses and removal of invasive species, carefully planned grazing of livestock, and state-of-the-art monitoring of ground conditions.
